Real Time Information Penalties delayed again for small business

HMRC has once again delayed the threat of charging penalties to small businesses (less than 50 employees) for their Employer Real Time Information (RTI) filing.

This is the third delay – which is great news for small businesses but I am left wondering just what HMRC are up to.

Are there still problems with Real Time Information (RTI)?

Is the system not working?

Of course it makes my blog of a couple of weeks ago entirely redundant.

The announcement about this was made just late yesterday afternoon and HMRC have yet to update their guidance pages, see here for more information:
